By submitting photographs, images, or media to Coaster Collector (coastercollector.com)—including entries for photo contests, ride galleries, or community features—you agree to be bound by these Photo Submission Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before uploading any content.
1. License Grant to Coaster Collector
When you upload or submit a photograph to Coaster Collector, you retain your copyright ownership in the photograph; however, you grant Coaster Collector and its administrator(s) a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to:
Display, feature, and reproduce your photograph on the website, including on individual ride pages, galleries, community feeds, and promotional materials.
Crop, resize, edit, or modify the photograph as necessary to fit the design, layout, or technical specifications of the platform.
Feature winning contest photographs within user profiles, badges, or avatar systems.
2. Representations and Warranties
By submitting a photograph, you represent and warrant that:
Original Ownership: You are the sole author, creator, and legal copyright owner of the photograph, or you have explicit, verifiable authorization from the copyright holder to submit it.
No Infringement: The photograph does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or any other intellectual property or legal rights of any third party.
Model & Property Releases: You have obtained explicit permission or releases from any recognizable people (including children or other park guests) depicted in the photograph to have their likeness published on a public website.
No Unlawful Content: The photograph does not contain illegal, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or sexually explicit material.
3. Contest Rules and Selection (If Applicable)
If your photo is submitted as part of a competitive photo contest:
Selection: Winners are selected based on community votes, administrative review, or specific contest criteria established on the platform.
Prizes & Recognition: Prizes (such as site badges, avatar unlocks, or featured gallery placements) are awarded at the sole discretion of Coaster Collector. No monetary compensation or commercial licensing fees will be paid for submitted or winning photos unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
Disqualification: Coaster Collector reserves the right to disqualify any entry, remove photos from galleries, or revoke contest wins if these terms are violated or if a submission is found to be fraudulent or stolen.
4. Indemnification and Release
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Coaster Collector, its creator(s), and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
Any breach of the representations and warranties listed above.
Any copyright infringement or privacy violation claims brought by third parties regarding the photographs you submitted.
5. Removal of Photographs
While Coaster Collector is granted a perpetual license to use submitted content to maintain historical ride galleries and community records, you may request the removal of your photograph from public display by contacting the site administrator. Upon request, we will use reasonable efforts to remove the specified photograph from active platform views.
